About Me
A brief introduction to my journey in software engineering.
Hi, I’m Avinash — the guy who was terrible at studying but great at learning. School wasn’t my thing (I blame the boring textbooks), but give me a problem, a laptop, and an internet connection, and I’ll figure it out. That’s exactly how I taught myself Python, landed my first job as a Backend Developer in 2021, and started building cool stuff ever since.
I’ve worked with freelancing clients, so I understand projects from the “crazy idea” stage to the “it’s live!” stage. I’m mostly a backend guy, but I can do a little frontend — just don’t ask me to design something pretty unless you like minimalism… like, really minimal.
When I’m not coding, I’m usually traveling, capturing moments, and turning them into memories with my camera — because I love photography almost as much as I love debugging (okay, maybe a little more).

As a senior full-stack engineer, lead a team of 4 junior developers and collaborated on more than 3 projects ensuring 0 defects and on-time deliveries. Implemented LangChain and GPT-4o-mini into an open-source SQL runner, enabling natural language to SQL generation and in-app query execution, with bug fixes to support smooth tabular output.

Alectio
Merged the Pro and Community versions of Alectio into a unified version with one database and multiple schemas as tenants, which solved the database maintenance issue and improved the overall system architecture and reduced maintenance overhead.
